Can anyone tell me where I can find a diagram of the exhaust system for a 2001 e320?
I am trying to find out weather it is the catalytic converter or muffler that is rattling. I was in an accident and was wondering if this could have caused the converter /muffler to crack in the inside, and now causing the rattling. Thanks in advance for your replies.

 

instead of looking at the diagram, it's best to take ur car to a shop or dealer, and inspect it underneath to see exactly what the problem is...

 

It could be just a loose heat shield.

they do rust through, and a mechanic willjust tell you to take it off.

dont even worry about replacing it, if thats all it is.
