E500 Performance upgrades?
I sold my 03 capri blue E500 last year & missed it since! I just bought myself a 2004 E500 Alabaster white over java with every option including the panaramic roof! (my fav.) nav & all the buttons.
Who makes a air intake or a chip for a touch more performance, nothing to crazy.

RE: E500 Performance upgrades?
It is very limited what kind of power gains you will get since it is a normal aspirated engine. With only a software upgrade of the ecu, will you gain about: 15-20ps and 18ft/lbf . The engine will get some higher rpm and more response. Top speed will be limited at about 270km/h. To get more power will it be needed to add a supercharger - gains would then boost 100-150ps more than you have today.

Then just go for a software upgrade - you will get a "new" car after this. The cost would be about $1000 somewhere - a bit more with an air intake change. This car needs a good software in order to be fun to drive
