e320 wagon
New to forum, Hello all. I am checking out a late 90's e-320 wagon in great condition all service up to date. Need a daily driver short commute to office and some road trips that could include grand kids at times.
Any input on reliability for a m.b. 10 yrs old and 90+ 0000 miles.
Thx, for any input, Jeff

Go to your library and look at the Consumer Reports annual summary. Using the specific year it will show systems where readers have found weaknesses. My 2002 E320 needs front tie rod ends and ball joints at 110,000 miles, the fog lights work when they feel like it, the time and outside temperature displays are dead, and all I get from the AM radio is static.

We bought our '98 E 320 Wagon new and have loved it ever since. Has near 200K on it now. Have replaced ball joints as mentioned by other poster however everything else has been routine. The car gets great gas mileage and has excellent performance by any standards. If the car has been maintained I wouldn't hesitate.
