E320 Spring Coil Damaged/Broken
Hello. Hopefully someone can help me with the following...
Two days ago the front left spring coil on my 1999 E320 broke/snapped/collaped. After my husband picked my son and I up from the side of the road we went immediately to our mecanic. He was unable to help, told us it was frame damage and that he had seen it several times before. We went to the Mercedes dealership where, after speaking to three individuals, they finally admitted that they had seen this type of problem before in other MB and that MB would most likely cover the cost of the repair. They directed me to have my vehicle towed to the bodyshop that they use, 30 miles away. I paid 175.00 for the tow. Now it looks like I will not have my E320 back for another 7 days. The dealership said they could not give me a loaner because the problem is bodywork. OK so here is my question, how do I get MB to provide a loaner vehicle? Also will they cover the cost of the tow? Any tips or feedback would be helpful. Thank youi.

RE: E320 Spring Coil Damaged/Broken
the replacement vehicle depends from dealer to dealer. it is only necessary if the car is still under warranty.
