Default E320 headlight question

Hi all, I have a 1995 E320 wagon that needs new headlamps (housing and all). I dont want to pay nearly $400 each for the OE units. I have found some on ebay that are semi attractive although kinda sporty for a wagon but I wonder what it is referring to when it says it fits 6 pin units only. Is this for Japanese or European spec vehicles or will it fit my car as well ?? Thanks Adrian

well im pretty sure all i asked was what 6 pin referred to, not a question about headlamp quality. If it mattered I am donating the car to a 17 y.o. boy who has lost his entire family in a car wreck last month after a drunk driver hit his parents and 2 sisters on a rural road at 3 am in east texas. Im sure he cares not about the performance of the lights at this point, and I do not happen to have the funds to buy the OEM units. i simply want to provide him with some temporary transportation with headlights that do function so thank you for your reply however I will seek advice elsewhere.

It seemed like since you stated "semi attractive"that you were concerned about quality.
My reply was in that avenue of thought, not being a mind reader and knowing the whole story.
Get the cheap lamps off of ebay install them and send a kid out on the highway with less than ample quality lighting.Quality used units can be purchased from several mb wrecking yards.I know of a few as other members can attest, but since you seem so terse with your reply and implied " I have found some on ebay that are semi attractive although kinda sporty for a wagon"I thought you were looking for quality lighting. . If it mattered in your self serving altrustic attitude you should be conserned with the quality of the lighting sending the kid off into the night. In Light of his current situation.
Please do seek advice elsewhere
