My 1997 Mercedes E320 Dashboard/Instrument Cluster is out. The odometer, trip and outside temperature still work, but the water temp, gas, speedometer and rpm gauges are not working. Is this a fuse or would I need to replace the whole instrument panel?

I had a similar situation on my 1991,190E,2.3. Yes, there are fuses for that.
If you look at the fuse box, it will show what this particular fuse is feeding.
Be sure to replace the burnt one with an identical one.

Go to benzworld.org w210 section and search cluster repair.
or www.everythingbenz.com
ohlord
if it was the fuse all the lights would be out, either it is a bulb or the pixels are dead or the cable is loose a search will give you all the avenues to test and if dead pixels a company that repairs the cluster.

Check the wire connections, pull the unit and jiggle the conection see if it is loose. It has been a problem not a common one but enough that people have restored function by checking for other things and discovering it was just loose.
hope it helps.
