Default E320 Cabrio Issues

I am considering the purchase of a 95 E320 Cabrio with just over 50K on the meter. I do not have any experience with convertibles and need to know what problems to look for. How to I check out the hydraulics and any other top related issues? Thanks for any input.

I've had 2 of the e320 cabrios for 12 plus years. I've never had any top related issues. They are prone to the regular e320 engine issues (leaking head gasket and crappy wire harness). Some have had issues with a/c system but I haven't. Amazing cars (especially for the prices they are down to now). 50k miles is amazingly low and as long as it was cared for and driven regularly, it should be an awesome car.

Thanks for the feedback. I know I will be replacing the engine wiring harness. The head was replaced at 15K per Carfax records. Not sure that I trust this. It was probably a head gasket replacement. The hydraulic fluid for the top is mid way between the marks. No known history of problems. I have not been able to check the A/C as it has been to cold to allow the compressor to engage. Owner said the A/C worked fine last summer. I hope all will be OK. I try to do all my own repairs so hopefully the future cost of ownership will be tolerable.
