Default e320 AC Trouble

I was wondering if you can help figure out what could
be wrong with my AC. I had a car accident in the rear
pasangers side, and the car had sat for about five
months or so, the battery went dead so I changed it,
the car is now running but the AC is not working
properly. The drivers side is blowing warm/hot air and
the passengers side is blowing cold air. I have set
both sides to the (lo)position for the temperature
setting. I was wondering since the battery was dead
and exchanged do I have to reset some settings for the
complete system? Also can you please share with me if
you can remember off the top of your head what else
needs to be reset. I know the window and the seats,
but I can't remember what the process or the key
position is. I hope you can help me with my troubles,
because it sure is hot here in TX. Thanks in advance
for your help and response.

Been there, done that. Meaning I had the same experience with my 1997 E320 two years ago. Presure inside your AC system is low and not enough to cool both sides. You most likely have a leak. You should have it checked and if there is a leak have it fixed. Unfortunately it is going to cost you a few thosand dollars if there is a leak.
