Hope you can help me out. I have a 1993 190 e sportline 2.6 w/112K miles on it. When I start the car after it's been sitting overnight the car shakes and acts like it wants to shut off. I sometimes have to start it several times for it to idle correctly. When driving the car it's sluggish...not sure if these are related problems or not...any suggestions/advice?</P>

I had a similar cold start problem with my 1991 2.3.The problem turned out to be the fuel injection system was in the defaultFOM mode due to a blown fuse in the over voltage protector relay. The OVP controls everything from cold starting through the O2 Lamda control of the fuel injection system after warmup.Check the 10amp fuse under the plastic cover on top of the OVP relay. The relay is located behind a plastic cover on the firewall behind the battery. Hope this helps.

 

i think it look like the the cold start valve. But I would try cheaper way to pour the gas treatment, the gas filter would be glogged or check the sparks plugs of wear out.
