E320 2002 radio code

E320 2002 radio code

The radio went into code after hitting a pothole, I have the code but as soon as I go to input the code the screen says "wait" and stays that way. Anyone know how to help. Thanks,

leave it on WAIT for about 15 mins....then it should switch to CODE.
