E class, -96
Hi
having some troble with the backlight of the speedo, rpm etc. in my car, its "glowing", looks like poor ground connection, but how do i do to find theese connectors under the dash?! -all other lights are 100% ok, only the backlight of the dash and mid-consloe is weak/glowing. checked the fuses, and the ground-points around the battery.. -any help would be great!

there is a rheostat on it which adjust the brightness by increasing or decreasing the resistance.
this rheostat could be the cause. clean it first.
it is that thing on the left side of the cluster which you turn to adjust the brightness.
