Missing pixels or dead back lighting?
if the back light bulbs are dead you can replace them,if parts of the pixels are missing the cluster needs to be repaired.Go to benzworld.org w210 section diy area at the top of the page also may be more info on the cluster at mercedesshop.com
In the past two weeks or so there was a thread we worked on re: dash lights so search for that thread also on benzworld.org
w210 section,
have fun

always confirm year and consult with them about your model and date of production ,located in drivers side door frame.

when you remove it check the connections on the harness just to see if they are loose.
hope this helps
