Default Cup Holder for a 1989 300 E

Has anyone found a decent cupholder for this model?

Get cup holder for VW Vanagon, but you need to drill 2 holes to attach it...

http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?partnumber=CH100B

or a simpler solution...

get a cheap plastic cup holder from Autozone (or Pep Boys), this one is designed to put on the door window with the tongue slides in the window... DON'T do that... instead bend the tongue sharply and slide it in the space betwwen the carpet and the shifter console... works great...

Thank you!

Option #2 was very clever! I will try it!

it may be not "classy" for someone but it works.. no hole to drill, no glue, no sticky tape..

If you decide you want to get a nice on that matches the leather, or zebrano woodthere is one that fits underneath the arm rest and requires no drilling. Preformanceproducts.com it is expensive but what isn't on a Mercedes. I got the one that is drilled into the side for an old Saab I believe it is the same as the cupholder from the old sl it worked great.

Thanks for the tip Leon S.!

The $2 cupholder solution worked just fine! Kind of out of sight when not in use! I put mine on the driver's side.
