Default Computer Codes P2085 and P2016

Hi Folks,
I have E320, 2001, I am getting a check engine light. I scanned the car and got these two codes. P2085 and P2016. I think it's something has to do with air flow. But I am Not sure. I was wordering if anyone has these codes before and can let me know what was the cure for it. Take care all.

"Self adaptation of mixture formation is at or out of limit"
My Star Manual for '01 ML320 states: if fuel pressure is not too high and no injector leaking, replace MAF sensor. I have never experiance these codes ut from what I was reading in the manual, Mercedes is trying to avoid MAF replacement under warranty period and leaving it as the last option to replace if these codes are displayd together!
Good luck,
Bernard

Default Clean the mass air sensor

with crc maf cleaner diy w210 section.
Change your fuel filter which should of been changed years ago but in most cases has not been performed. If over 100K miles change your O2 sensors. All need to be done and all will increase your mpg a great amount and clear the fault at the same time.
Your engine and maintenance are telling you something

Default P2085 & p2016

Thank you guys for you inputs. I wanted to let you know that i have K & N air filter insttalled a year ago. Car has almost 97,000 miles on it. I bought it with 55,000 miles. I have never replaced the fuel filter . I think it's time to do that. I will do that. I am going to remove this K & N filter and use the one I always use. the Mann band one for mercedes. I will also clean the Air Mass Sensor and clean the codes and see what will happens.
