Default change tire?

I'm new to the world of Mercedes and had a flat tire today. How do I change it? The person who responded to my call for help, got the lug nuts off, got the little mercedes logo off, but then was confronted by some type of lock. We couldn't figure it out. It's a 1995 E300D. Help!

Remove the 5 lugnuts (no need to remove center logo) and wheel comes off.
Sometimes the wheel corrodes to hub so you have to kick the tyre with lugnuts loosened/removed to break the seal/corrosion. Careful it doesn't fall off the jack!!
I suspect that you are trying to remove the entire hub and have come to the locking device which ensures the wheel bearing nut is locked in the (correct) position.
Not impressed by your roadside assistance man!

Its lifetime of your MB, tires, belt, maybe a hose, jump, battery, or arrange a tow. The battery charge is parts counter price, but they come out with the code, to wherever you are, 24/7.
