CABIN AIR FILTER

RE: CABIN AIR FILTER
there are to rectangular dust filters behind the glove box. 6 phillips screws hold in the glove box on that car. two are under little rubber covers on the inside front bottom of the glove box, 2 are right in front on the upper outside of the front of the box and the last 2 are kinda tricky u can see them. there are 2 holes on both sides of the glove box light there are a 2 screws up there you will need a stubby phillips screwdriver. once u take them all out grab the lid of the box when opened as close as u can to the box while still having a tight grip. yank pretty hard on the box. u wont break it but u have to yank pretty hard on those models. there once it breaks loose there may be a plastic tab on top of the box that will catch the upper dash. just keep pulling. then disconnect the light connector i dont think the cable for the latch is attatched on top, if it is just disconnect it. set the box aside. in the back to the right u will see a black plastic cover with a white slide tap. push the top of the white slide tab down then remove the cover. u will see both filters. reinstall. the glove box shouldnt need force to back back in.
