I just recently purchased a beautiful E-500 AMG. It is blast to drive. I would like the exhaust to speak to me a little more when I step on it. I know, with many luxury cars along these lines, they install resonators in the exhaust pipes to make them quieter. Can those resonators be easily removed. Has anybody done this?

 

Hello and welcome to the forum Jason! The resonators should be able to be removed; this has been quiet popular with many models. This should give you a 'throater' sound - if you're looking for an aftermarket exhaust, please let us know the year of your E500 and we can give you a few options.
