thanks for the site battlecat.. i did not find any instrutions or steps on installing new struts tho.. also is there any good site that any1 would suggest for ordering new struts? im gonna try to do this my self and no sleepwalker i dont think i have spring compressor

i replaced my front struts on my 1994 e320 in my garage using a rented spring compressor from an auto shop. Other than your basic wrenches, you will need an Allen type wrench (the ones that look like an L) and some strength to remove some of the bolts. I would also reccomend replacing the strut mounts (found them on ebay for 30 bucks a pair) As for the struts themselves I found them at autozone.com. for 75 a piece (monroe senstrac). If you give me your email i can send you a pdf file that gives the instructions on how to install them. Hope this helps.
