Default battery fried, hot engine, no ac

I was on a long drive when my battery started boiling and finally died after all the acid got boiled out. I put water in it and gave a jump and managed for to go for help for about 10 miles. Now the a/c plus auxillary fans, driver seat do not work heating up the car and radiator fluid oozing out.

Battery output is 22v instead of 12. I thik it is the voltage regulator not doing its job and overcharging the battery. Also how do I fix it so that the cooling fans start and I can drive back home (about 200 miles) on a cool engine. I have to drive across new york traffic.

How do I directly control the electrc fans and make them run always till I get home.
How do I prevent the battery from overcharging
How do I make the a/c, seat and maybe other things that have broken work.

When was the last time you checked the fluid in the battery? My father fried his '91 300E battery because it was not maintenence free. We replaced it with the same MB battery and now that I have the car I almost did the same thing...you need to check the fluid level on a regular basis, especially often in hot weather!

This is all I can add from my experience. I don't know how the advise you how to limp home...I'd say you need to replace the battery and voltage regulator as a start... It could be the fuses to the other devices are all you need to replace...the fuse box for most of the accessories are located in the engine compartment near the rear on the driver side...close to the hood mount.

the car got over voltage protection relay. it will cut off the supply once it goes beyong 14 volts... it only protect the electronics.

does the car got a viscous fan too or just electric fan to cool it off?

you may disconnect the line from alternator to battery and never use other consumers and drive the car for half an hour, reconnect it for ten minutes drive the car and do the same thing till you reach a workshop.

The car has a clutch fan which is not able to cool the engine and hence the needle goes to the red portion and the raditor fluid could be seen boiling. The auxillary fans are electric and they are not turning on heating the engine. Is there a way to make them run permanantly for like 100 miles ...

wire them directly to the battery. just after the stage1 resistor.
