Hi all...

Could anyone please confirm the following.....(1988 300TE):

1. The aux. fan WILL run anytime the A/C is ON

2. The aux. fan WON'T run only at certain pressure in the A/C.

I'm confused. I think that the #1 is true, so I bring the car in the shop and they changed the red pressure switch (near the receiver) and they recharge the freon. After that the aux. fan still WON'T run with the A/C on and they said it will run only at certain pressure in the A/C... (They tested the fan and it's OK)

so.. why they changed the the red pressure switch..? So #1 or #2... I'm lost here ... I need to know before I bring the car back because if the #1 is TRUE then may be there's not enough freon in the A/C.
