Default Aftermarket E320 Ideas

I recently purchased a 2003 E320, and love it. I've had the windows professionally tinted, I've added new wheels/tires, and new exhaust tips. All of which have been done in good taste, and to keepa close original look, but with some flavor.

One item I don't like about the car is the lower grill inserts. They are made out of plastic, and feel flimsy. The AMG's have a nice steel mesh insert painted black that looks extremely clean and sharp. Unfortunately the AMG mesh won't fit into the same fitting on my E320. So I started looking all over for aftermarked inserts, and found nothing. I went to a few custom shops and they told me I could make it myself. Well folks, I'd rather leave the building to the pro's and be assured its perfect. Rather than me messing it up.

Do any of you know of a good custom shop that could build this for a reasonable price, or a place that sells hard to find aftermarket unique Mercedes parts?
Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I tried a few of those sites, but most of them don't do custom stuff. There were a few places that I could order the same material from, and then do it myself, but as I mentioned before, I don't want to.

On another note, I did find a cool place online that you can order custom European Plates for your car. Since I have an 03 E320, I wanted to get a plate that would make sense if it was registered in Germany, but to customize it of course. I found the site http://www.licenseplates.tv/and ordered up a custom plate and bracket for the car. Since I'm not quite ready to have a body shop fix the screw holes from my front license plate, I figure this would be cool for now. Plus noone else I know has done this. Of course I'm sharing the love for you Mercedes Forum readers I paid about $36.00 for the custom plate, and another $15.00 or so for a plate holder.

Once it arrives I'll let you know if it looks cool on the car or if its just a bad idea, or makes a better wall decoration.

Hey 1Power:

I bought the exhaust tips on ebay at a guy named Jakuo's store: http://stores.ebay.com/jakuo. They were extremely well built, and are solid asa rock. They have a really nice chrome finish that Ive been impressed with. I'm a little hesitant to buy stuff for my car on EBAY, but this was a good risk. I paid $135.00 for the pair and $30.00 shipping. He sent them pretty fast and the installer said he was impressed with them. They come with an allen wrench to adjust to the look you like but I had Midas Mufflers install them for me. They only charged me $40.00 and spot welded them. I've had them on a while and they havent moved a bit, there is no noise, and I love the look.

I took some pics of them for you to check out. You would think that since I'm posting pics on a Mercedes site that I would have at least cleaned my car beforehand, I guess Im just not that cool. But the pics should help you paint a good picture. Remember, you can adjust these to nearly anyway you want. And since they are vented on the lower side, you don't have to worry about them getting too hot and damaging your rear bumper cover.
