Hello, all. I have been looking for a great car to buy. I am only 22 years old. And was considering and 2003 M5, love the car but is getting dated. I am considering an E55 AMG, 2004-2005, I just want to know about the quality of the car. I am going to be able to pull off buying it, but I don't want to be raped with maintance costs. Fluid changes, tires brakes, and thats about it. Filters, of course. I want something that will handel 150k miles without much happening, this is also, a responsible driver that is not going to abuse the machine.

Never had a super charger, is the setup good on this car. Or something I have to watch out for, any advice on anything about the car would be great.

 

I am 21 and i say go with the E39 but thats because i really like the E39 style. Though i think u will be happy with either car i think the BMW will give u less headaches in the long run.

 

All three are great cars. I personally choose SL55 considering no need for rear seats. It's up to your budget and personal preference. Whichever you choose, you can't go wrong.

The E55 AMG is the nicest Benz I must say xD

 

The SL 55 will probibly get you the most looks. I had a 600sl and I ran it till about 98,000 miles. It didnt give me any headacks either.
