Default 98 E430 Power loss

Irecently purchased an 1998 E430 and just had the AC clutch replaced and the 80K service completed. On the first trip I started having problems with lack of power. It kept staying between 60-65 mph even with the trottle completely down. I thought it could have something to do with the engine temp as it stayed around 95 deg C, buth from reading here in the forum this high engine temp might be normal? There is no check engine light on nor any other warning lights... what could be the problem?

For one brief moment on the 50 mile trip I had to pull the car to the side as it let out way too much blue smoke from the exhaust... could this be from keeping the throttle all the way down? - checked under the hood but everything, fan belts etc, seemed fine and the temp still stayed at 95 deg C. Started up again and drowe the rest of the way at 60 - 65 mph

Any help would be gratly appreciated

Thanks,
