How do I reset the service light? I read somewhere to </P>


1. turn key to position 2, </P>


2. push "0" twice, </P>


3. within 4 secs. turn key back to position0 then depress "0" and</P>


4. while still depessing "0" button,turn key back to position 2 and hold for about 10 secs until it beeps.</P>

I turned my light off on my 94 by disconnecting the battery. Only down side is I have not got my radio working since.

 

I don't want to disconnect the battery. But to fix your radio: the radio codes are on a credit card sized card in the owners book. if that card is missing you can call the dealer, give them the VIN and they can look up the radio code

 

I have the code - it doesn't work. I took the radio out - went to the dealer with radio in hand - they gave me the same code. It will not reset

 

I have a 98 too and that proceedure did not work. I think that is probably only for 99 or newer with FSS. Our cars use a timer instead. Can anyone tell us how to reset the 98 or older E320? Can it only be done with a computer tool?
