Default 97 E 420 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON

Hi, new to your site and need a little help. My radiator let go so took it to a non mercedes dealer and had a new one put in. Picked it up went half a mile and the check engine light came on. When I took it back they ran the codes and it came up p0170 which they advised me were three things the MAF, a pvc valve or their may be a leak in the fuel line from the tank to the engine. Question at hand is should I have disconnected the battery after they replaced radiator to let the car reset its computer or is this just another one of the many problems I will have to endure with this car? Any advise would be appreciated.

question is which lawyer you should hire .... they (the shop)obviously didn't test drive the car after repair to assure it was done correctly......how non-Mercedes was this shop?

I took it to the closest service center (SHELL) I had to get it somewhere quick it was overheating and leaking coolant everywhere. When I went back they claimed this had absolutely nothing to do with the radiator they replaced and that it was not their issue..also advised me at that point they don't do repairs on the fuel system and I should take it to a MB Dealer. Since it overheated should the computers be reset?

just one code p0170 would not be the mass air sensor. It affects both fuel trim values so it would show 2 codes.email me reply won't get to the forum
