Default 96 E320 blower stuck on low

My 96 E320 heater/Ac blower motor is stuck on low speed, no matter what the dash board fan speed controler says. I understand that the fan speed regulator may be the problem, but also I may have to replace the blower motor and cover as well as the regulator as the regulator has to be upgraded. Has anyone else run into this? Has anyone attempted this repair on your own? And where did you get the parts; from MB or aftermarket? I am a diesel mechanic, so I have the skills and tools. Thanks for your help!

it is the blower regulator and your right you might need to upgrade the blower cover and blower too, unless its already been done in the past

Thanks, Chassis221, any sources other than MB to get the parts required? Aftermarket, used?
