My new (to me) 1995 e230 wagon radio was giving me the "wait" treatment. I went to the dealer and got the 5 diget unlock code, but then what? I press xxxxx and then ___?.

I tried the big power button, but that just turns the radio off. The dealer said; try that, the "ok" button (there is none) or the scan button. When I press the scan button, I just get the "wait" message again.

Help!

 

The wait button comes on when the code has been entered wrong to many times. You have to leave the radio on till it goes back to CODE. If the radio was changed the code you get will be different. You now have to remove the radio and give your dealer the ser #. They can give you the correct code.
