I have a '95 E320 with 125,000 miles. It recently started cutting out after about 15 minutes of operation. It has given an error code for fuel pump relay so I replaced that, but the problem has continued. I also checked the connections to the fuel pumps and they are fine. Any ideas?

 

that sounds like a crank sensor fault. has the engine wire harness been replaced yet? very common problem 94's and 95's

 

I had a similar problem on my E500 some yeras ago. It turned out to be a "corroded" distributor cap.
