Hi,
I just purchased the above earlier this week.... Tonight I noticed the outside temp indicator (bottom part of dash) blinking/flashing and turning off completly... any idea what could be causing this problem? Any idea how to fix?

just a busted bulb for backlight.

replace the bulb.

 

It comes off and on... Sometimes it is dim and then it will go off... 2 minutes later it is back on.... Would a buld be doing that or would it be more electrical?

it means something is loose.

rheostat or bulb contacts.
