Hello everyone. I just purchased a black 1992 300e with 178,000 miles. I owned an 1987 300e years ago and used this forum extensively then, and I'm hoping it will be useful to me once more.

Anyway, the driver's side mirror on this vehicle is cracked, and also the **** that adjusts the mirror is broken. I am wondering how easy it is to just replace the entire mirror, **** and all (assuming I can find a replacement one online or at a junkyard).

Also, there are a couple other little things missing from the vehicle that I'd like to replace. The foam heat or noise insulator that's normally on the underside of the hood is completely gone, and also the plastic "aerodynamic" shield that's on the bottom front of the car under the engine is missing. If anyone knows where I can get these two items relatively cheap online I would greatly appreciate the info.
