Default 85 300E center a/c dash vent barely blowing, side vents fine?

Someone know what this is? I recently had a leak at the condensor, had the dealer repair it, he said something about the system was only HALF way converted over so he did that, fixed leak, and for a week or so it was ice cold and fine..suddenly there is barely any air whatsoever blowing from center vent but sides are fine and ice cold...also the low button is practically "off" and when you push the high button it runs like low used to??? ANy ideas? I spent 600 dollars and I'm in Florida and it's HOT. Thanx! -Dehaven.

Default RE: 85 300E center a/c dash vent barely blowing, side vents fine?

it can be a problem with the air flaps or the blower?

the air flaps are pneumatically activated with vacuum elements. this is connected to the intake manifold. there is a distribution valve block somewhere behind the glove compartment or near the right A pillar... depending on your aircon model. behind the brake booster is the vacuum entry distributor point with a one way valve. take a visual check.

if it's a blower speed problem.. then confirm again your explanation.

why not take it back to that repair shop anyway? i always guarantee my work for 3 months on things like this. it might be something that he fitted loosely too.
