Hello all I am now the proud 3rd owner of a 1977 280E.
I've never owned an M-B before.
Having an issue with the tranny not shifting out of 2nd gear. I can shift from 1st to 2nd, and back manually, but can't get any higher gear.
I'm hoping someone here can guide me to what I need to get it working.
I've search the forum and didn't find any posts related to this issue. I'm guessing it might be a vacuum, or modulator issue.
Any thoughts that might give me a place to start?
