Default 400E wheels

I have a 92 400E and I want to replace the wheels with 17" but am not sure what offset I need. The wheels I like are the CL600 OE wheels. Anyway...can anyone advise me on the correct size for this car. Thanks

Default RE: 400E wheels

Brian, take one wheel off, look on the back side of the wheel for a number which begins with the letter "E" , for example E38 that is the offset for the wheels on your MB; check one front and one back to see if they are the same; MB, depending upon the model uses a stagger, meaning the front offset is different from the back, the "E" numbers will be different between the front wheels and the back wheels. Good luck

Bernie
