I have a 1989 3.0L V6 300-E, this is a w124 with a m103 engine.

I am replacing the camshaft and would like help finding out where the plate is that has the engine version.

I think that it is either a m-103.983 or 103.981.

Any help pinpointing this information would be well appreciated, and maybe somewhere i can buy a good used camshaft.

call a dealer and they can put in your vin and tell you your original engine # . its on the VMI
