How long do MB batteries typically last? Next, where's the best place to purchase a replacement? Lastly, is any programing needed? Any insight would be appreciated.

Does it shows battery sign and asking you to visit workshop ?

Usually their MB battery can last most than 3 years. But If im not mistaken your car has two batteries. One is in the rear supporting the engine and the other one is at the front left under the air condition filter cover.

That battery is to support the SBC and other electronic systems inside your car Its a small battery, almost like a motorbike battery find a good substitute for it. Well that's if you need to replace it...
