I recently purchased an 03 e500. I'm not new to mercedes having owned 10-15 over the years. I was changing my air filters and cleaning my MAF and I noticed that there is nothing plugging this up. Is this normal or did the p/o misplace or lose it at some point. It's not blowing out or weeping any fluids.

 

Hello - from what I remember, it did not come with a dipstick. A lot of other members across several other forums have inquired about this as well.
