Default 2001 S500 wheels on a

Will the s500 wheel fit on a 1998 E320? The backset/offset is different but the bolt spacing is the same:Offset: 40mm Backspacing: 5.90" Bolt Pattern: 5-112
Rec. Tire Size:225/60-16

You could use the rims ,but not the tires. The rims are 5by 112 with 40et your E320 is 5by112 with 41 et..the tires would be 1.3 inches taller making them be so much larger in diameter that at Pi r squared they would be spinning 40 fewer times per mile.Your speedometer would be off.Your gear ratios would be off.The car would become a slug off the line. The only issue to fitment is the lug seat shape and length and that can be solved with a trip to discount tire or a call to http://www.radusadirect.com/
