Default 2000 e320 limp mode issue p0715

hello everyone. i have recently purchased a 2000 e320 with no problems after a month. then backing out of a parking spot i realisei was just spinning rpms, no accell. i turned it off turned back on and left gas station. went a tenth of a mile when the car staarts jerking at about 40 mph, then lost all gears .limp mode home
i have a innova 3160 scanner i iulled p0700 p0715, replaced conducter plate with new one from oreilys and new harness connector was super careful not to get any debri inside.out of habit i unhooked the battery before. now i cant clear the 715 keeps saying fix asisst on my scanner. initially when i i started up after repair warnings of abs and esp flashed but was able to clear those,. now stuck 1st gear limp mode 30 mph tops at 4,000 rpms. any help or tips would be much appreciated .

Hello and welcome to the forum! I believe in order to clear the code, you'll likely need a dedicated Mercedes scan tool. A lot of the generic obd2 tools will not be able to clear the code. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
