I'll put this question in a new thread. This one mercedes guy said about putting a 2.6L head on this 1989 300E block and it turns it into a screamer. Now what 2.6L do you think he is refering to the 260E head or the 2.6L 300E engine or are they the same engines I am kinda thinking they are different? Now I did notice that 300E's had 2.6L's is that the same motor as whats in a 260E? Or is this just misinformation? thanks
