115K miles. When I run the climate control, the check engine light goes on and the car goes into safe mode, turning off the turbo.

I recently had the glow plugs changed because of a warning light.

My mechanic can't figure out why CEL would light when the climate control is on. Have been driving for 2 days without turning on climate control and car has been working fine.

Any thoughts before I have to take it to dealer?

 

you have to take it to the dealer to read the fault code.

the vacuum control for charge pressure or EGR does not function or leaky.
