1998 Wagon replacement headlight sets?
My E320 looks like brand new, except for headlights, they are very dirty, unclear and simply an eyesore. Already tried headlight cleaning kits; the dirt is inside, and I've been informed that you can't open the headlight assy.
Regardless if this is true or false, I've been eying replacement sets. They start form apprx. $230 for a pair, the most expensive ones are close to $700.
Anybody has any experience with these? "Bolton" set (pair) is the most inexpensive, wondering what's the catch?
How the replacements fit? Any known issues?
All info highly apperciated.

scrubbing, polishing, cleaning, rubbing = inexpensive. elbow grease
go on ebay and you can find replacement outer lens = $100+
yes, the lens is pretty easy to remove.
purchasing complete headlight assembly = $300+ depending on aftermarket or OEM

OOPS!...just focused my eyeballs and see that the lens being sold is for the HID headlight,
not halogen.
