I tried search to see if I could find a post that would help ... but I didn't find one.

I have s 1996 E320. Both the odometer and the trip back lights are out. Is there a procedure that I can follow to change the instrument cluster bulbs?

what you do is to just pull the cluster out.

 

How does one do that sw, why don't these idiots just use LEDs, they were around in '96.

 

I used a 12" prybar and a rag and a lot of patience. It would be a lot easier to get a special tool for this job. I believe Mercedes sells one.
