Default 1995 E320 Sedan - To buy or not to buy...?

I will be checking out a 1995 E320 sedan with 150K miles this Friday morning, priced at $3K. Just wondering what y'all think....

Engine was replaced at 100K as "the dealer technician dropped a bolt and ruined it," according to the owner.

Owner says that previous owner put a sealant on the paint which didn't work out well, so he is removing it. Not sure how viable that is, but I guess I'll find out.

I haven't seen the records yet, but will be looking for these items which I see can be of issue with this car:
Trans rebuild
Head gasket
Wiring harness
Ignition lock
Ignition wires
Neutral safety switch
Water pump

Hoping that at least a few of these issues were handled with the replaced engine. I do have the VIN number.

Anyway, if anyone has an educated opinion, that would be great. Thank you! in advance.
