1994 E 320 with 11,000 miles
I've been offered the chance to buy a 1994 E 320 2-door with 11,000 miles for $7,000.00 dollars. It sounds like a great deal but the blue book value online lists this car for just over $7,000.00. The car is a much nicer ride than my year 2000 Buick Century but I'm concerned about maintenance headaches down the road. I imagine everything on the Mercedes is more expensive to fix than on the Buick; but a Mercedes is a Mercedes, right?
I guess I'm asking E 320 owners if they're happy with their vehicle and can share with me some of the joys and problems with the 1994 E 320. Like I said, the ride is much quieter and solid than in my Buick but the Buick has better air conditioning...
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hazel: I owned a '94 E320 two years ago and loved the car. However, before buying, you should go online and pay the $20+ for a month's worth of CarFax or AutoCheck. You then can type in the car's Vehicle Identification Number and get a history of the car (owners, servicing, wrecks?, and if it has been in a flood, etc.); it's worth the money! You can also check the Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds website for pricing. The only problem with owning a MB is the expensive!!! repairs. Be prepared for a few surprises as to cost.
