I've been told that the 82-84 Mercedes Turbo diesels are the best. I was concentrating on them but I like the look of the early 90s turbo diesels; are they any good? If they are good, up to what date should the cut off be? I just got rid of a 1998 which was awful. Although a great ride, it cost me a fortune in repairs in a very short time even though it had few miles on it.
