My instrument panel lights went out and i'm trying to replace them. I would like to go with LED. My questions are:

1. Where do i find the # on the bulb so i can order more? (example #74 bulbs replace the following bulbs:17 18 37 70 73 79 85 86 2721) the only information i have is 12v 3w.
all i can find are 1.5v...

2. If i go with LED does anyone know a site that will make my replacement easy? and again, what number do i search for and buy?

3. if i go with LED am i more likely to have future electrical problems...should i just stick with the original like i do on all other parts?

taking out the instrument panel was fun...my plastic cover has a large smudge that wont go away. can i buy a replacement cover? if so a link would be awesome.

 

No one knows? Someone out there has to know what size (number) light i need to purchase. Anybody? the internet is giving me such a range of numbers...i'm like that show on ABC that everyone watches.

I don't know of anybody that has bothered to change them out to LED.
The life of the standard bulb is years and they are very inexpensive.

the bulbs for the cluster are # 194 they are for the side marker bulbs too, most times the rheostat goes bad that is where you adjust the dimming or briteness of the dash lights
