I just purchased an 88 300E this past weekend. The car was a steal for $800! It has 189000 miles on it. The car needs a good tune up and muffler and exhaust stuff as well. The previous owner said that the car would run for a while then when it gets hot would not restart. WeIll true enough it did that to me when tried to drive it home. Well I had a tow truck tow it to be repaired and when I went back to see if it would crank it started right back up. I have checked online and get a variety of answers. Is there anyone out there that has experienced this issue. The body is not banged up and the interior is in good shape.
