Post 1988 300ce

The car was running good then i stoped at a red light and it died. then it stated ran bad for a min. then died again now it will not start it turns over but it will not fire. Does any one have any ides?

All it does is turn over but will not fire.

I had a similar problem to yours. The car turns over but won't fire, so that means that the motor may not be getting any fuel through. Check the fuel pump, It might need to be either cleaned or replaced. That fixed the issue for me, otherwise there might be dirt in the cylinder block but thats highly unlikely. That's all i can see, I hope a more professional benz tech posts here, replacing the fuel pump is quite cheap so if i were you i would take it to a independent MB mechanic. But first you should check the fuel pump,
