Thank you for the quick advice. I'm in my office and I won't be able to do it until I'm home tonight. Interesting that you mentioned the "****", I don't recall I have seen it, will it located somewhere near the headrest?
Ahh, the 87 300E, they just don't make them like that anymore. The headrest should electrically adjust with the module on the door. It's the small button on the top of the seat model that moves up and down. </P>
If you are trying to remove the headrest, you need to locate the round button(which really looks like an indentation)on the upper part ofthe back of the seat. Push the button really hard and manually raise head rest. It helps to have the seat reclined somewhat to avoid hitting the headrest on the ceiling. I wish I never sold mine.
