Default 190e catalytic converter

Hi,

I have to replace the front section of the exhaust on a 190e 1.8 manual 1992, which is fitted with a catalytic converter. I can however get hold of an identical section of exhaust at a fraction of the price which does not contain a cat, but this would involve bypassing the lambda sensor I think . . . . does anyone know how or whether it can be done?

Thanks,

Arthur

Default RE: 190e catalytic converter

you might get the check engine light all the time.

if you got the trimming plug, replace it to non cat.
